Colts rookie offensive linemen Mike Pollak and Jamey Richard did not travel with the team to San Diego on Friday, and will not play Saturday against the Chargers in the playoffs. Older, sorer and wiser. The Indianapolis Colts could get Bob Sanders and Joseph Addai back in the lineup on Thursday night. Then again, maybe not. Coach Tony Dungy told reporters on Tuesday he thought both would play against Jacksonville and both were listed as full participants in Tuesday's practice. But after practice, team president Bill Polian offered a different assessment.

Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola tried to shift the focus away from himself and toward a matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. "Let's talk about Indy," Raiola said often on Wednesday. The Lions fined Raiola $7,500 Tuesday for inappropriate conduct directed toward fans. "They did what they had to do," he said.

Six defensive starters missed Wednesday's practice for the Colts. Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger practiced on Friday despite being limited by his slightly separated right shoulder and may be able to play on Sunday against the Colts. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said earlier in the week it might be a game time decision whether Roethlisberger or backup Byron Leftwich starts against the Colts (4-4), but Roethlisberger is listed as probable.

Willie Parker's return to the starting lineup did not last very long. After finally returning from a 4 game absence to play in Monday night's win against the Redskins, the 2 time Pro Bowl running back has a new injury, an ailing shoulder, and will not play against the Colts.
